Where Are You Hummingbirds?

I wonder where they are?  Hummingbirds are such a joy to watch and enjoy.  Last year we had so much home repair going on until we had to take down the feeders.  The old feeders were falling apart from years of use so this year I chose a new type of feeder.  Do you put up feeders for these little beauties?

Mockingbirds love this rack
Maybe this is the problem
Hummingbirds may not want to have to deal with them?

I found these beautiful hanging Geraniums from Southern Produce & Plants
They were extremely full of bloom and then it happened
The very day I brought them home the wind picked up
It seems like it blew for a month!

I need to research flowers that Hummingbirds like

Another day, Another Mockingbird
They like to nest in the prickly, thorny white rose bushes that are behind this hanging post
This is one of the new saucer type feeders
I'll update as to how well the birds like them
Chuck the official household Hummingbird Feeder Filler-Upper
Says they are easy to wash and fill!

Pictured here is a collection of past Hummingbird feeders in our stash
You can see why we needed more
Actually they are beside the recycling bins
I'm trying to decide if I will keep any of the glass jars
The hoarder in me probably will
If not I will recycle them

These are in the front yard
We can look at them while rocking on the front porch
I just hope they come around soon
We will buy another rack and put some in the backyard
Chuck loves the spot right at the kitchen window
That way he can do two things he loves
Eat and watch the Hummingbirds fight!
(I know he is a mess)
I don't like to see them fight, but being a guy he does!

Again, look closely
Another Mockingbird

This rose bed is in horrible shape
I'm waiting for the bloom to clean it up and add mulch
The cart full of bricks was moved there while working other flower beds
The roses are beginning to bloom now!

Look at the view!
I love the colorful field and tree line!
Living out in the middle of nowhere has it's advantages
Certainly we are surrounded by a lot of natural beauty!

Work in progress
Trimming azaleas after the bloom
Pulling grass etc..
Fun but hard work!
I'll try to remember to show the after of the beds

One last parting shot of the feeders and flowers
The cute Gerbera Daisies are looking pretty cute in the new flower boxes!
I'll have to share these with you!
Look in the background to the right
Three beautiful Snowball bushes I recently purchased
They were absolutely full of blooms
Then the high winds took them away in a matter of days!
Next year look out!
Beautiful blooms will appear..
(I hope)

I have to get up from here and get back to some yard work!
(I feel like taking a nap, but won't)
Have a great weekend!

UPDATE
THEY HAVE FOUND THEIR WAY BACK HOME
WE ARE SEEING THEM NOW!
HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE
I WILL SHARE SOME PICS WHEN I AM ABLE TO GET ANY!
