I've been so excited since Christmas to see Rod Stewart. My sweet girls gave me this gift for Christmas
They know how much I love him! Always have! For months, I've looked at the gift box and remembered the little song and dance they did for me on Christmas Eve last year!
I'll never forget them for the entertainment and huge surprise they gave me. It was adorable. They're beautiful, talented, and loving young ladies. I'm thankful to have them!
The girls were raised in a house full of music. Our tastes may differ somewhat, but we all share a love for music.
History
Nancy, a friend, and I went to see Rod Stewart and Fleetwood Mac in the early 70s in Clemson, S.C. Her brother was attending Clemson. He knew we'd love the concert, so he took the two of us, and we had a blast!
It was a great concert, and who knew these fabulous talents would still be touring to this day?
Me frazzled, hot to the core, hair the worst I've ever seen, but guess if I'm posting this will have to do...
The girls didn't get a picture of themselves. Catie the clown kept picking at me, calling Rod 'Lady Elaine'. She really must have had the muppets on her mind these past two concerts! She is one funny, crazy girl!
We settled in a pretty good area and waited in the heat for the show to begin! This blog serves as a sort of journal for me, so I'm sharing things that will be memorable! I hope you will enjoy them as well
The place was packed, but the sound was pretty good. I have to say it was better in person than videos can convey. If you get the chance, I encourage you to go see him/them!
We three. This picture was taken the night before at the Willie Nelson Bob Dylan concert
I realize I'm sharing a lot of videos, but they are here because He is one of my all-time favorite singers. You can scan on through, listen to any you feel like.
A few of the videos are from shows done in July in Raleigh, and one from Atlanta. Close enough to the same time frame for me!
