Minimalism
I'm slowly working on it here at Hibiscus House.
Years of stuff have taken a toll
The needless clutter needs to be dealt with.
Full disclosure, can you believe this mess?
I can't believe I'm sharing it.
The cluttered corner in my Craft/Play Room!
This is a Goal!
Granted not a realistic one but non the less a goal

I'm working on it as we speak.
It's time for me to use this room as intended.
Time to create something!
A Good Minimalist Video
Switching Topic to Gardening
It's that time of year here for sure!
Are you Gardening?
I have also cut down my gardening, guess you could say mimalising that too
The Vegepods are full!
The in-ground garden has been cut 90%
The raised flower garden beds have a few herbs planted in them as well
Trimming the Hydrangea stems!
I call them aggravating stick into you sticks!
Did this trim the other day May 3rd.
A huge yearly project is trimming the rough hard stems from the Hydrangeas
A chore I kinda hate but one that has to be done!
pic not now -- from 2020
They are beautiful shrubs when in bloom!
I'll post on those as well as the clean up of the Craft Room later
Have a Great Productive Week!
I hope too
Until Next Time
Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling and could use some! Thanks!
DeleteHa, I wish I had a craft room, but I do not, so I am forced to move my project into a "storage" area every evening when I work on one. I have been clearing out the house since the last kid moved out, and in fact just gave one 12 books I had read. Every day I try to work one small area, if that is all time allows, and it is so freeing to get things chaotic free. Enjoy. Yes, we are gardening, but I would like to cut it back. I am not needing to stock pile like I did when all the kids lived at home.
ReplyDeleteI'm finding that the way you're doing is the best way. Little by little it seems to work. Looking forward to clean I hope to make it lol. I felt the urge to stock pile for so many years until it is a very hard thing to cut back but doing that little by little too. Thanks for sharing with us. Kids, we love them so miss them when they're gone but then have to pick ourselves up and get things organized too. We had a yard sale at a Baptist retirement village not long ago and dern if I didn't put a few things back into the car...laughing oh my gosh what a nut I am. Now to use that pasta maker or sell at the next sale...Have a great week!
