December 7, 1941: A date which will live in infamy.
84 years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor thrust the United States into World War II,
forever changing our Navy and nation.
Today we remember the heroism and sacrifice of those lost on that fateful day.
Their courage echoes across generations.

Sorry for the losses
The beginning of our involvement into World War II

One of my MANY fears as I negotiate old age is that our American history will be forgotten. I enjoyed parts (too much war and not enough wisdom) of the recent Ken Burns documentary on the Revolutionary War. I hope it had a large viewing audience. So thank you Dolly for remembering Dec. 7 Pearl Harbor Day/
ReplyDeleteI, like you hate the wars. Haven't seen the cocumentary but do like Ken Burns.
