We're Moving Dolly is Cooking to Hibiscus House!

UPDATE WEBSITE CLOSED MAY 5, 2016

I wanted to let you all know that the cooking website, the kitchen of Hibiscus House is going to be published right here.  The future recipes that is.  The older recipes, some maybe I'm not sure.

This will be a good move.  It will make it easier to maintain here in one place.  I appreciate all of you friends that follow there and welcome you here!

A cookbook may be in my future and will keep you updated.  I will leave Dolly is Cooking up for 2 weeks more if you are interested in paying another visit there.  After that it will become a private website.

I appreciate all of you and apologize for any inconvenience but this will be for the best.

Sincerely,

  1. Great, like one stop shopping! I am so very restricted in what I can eat that desserts would be a great thing, or snacks that I can leave the nuts out. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I've dropped 40 lbs since October! That's a good thing but eating only scrambled eggs, turkey/chicken, carrots beans and potatoes is getting somewhat dull! My husband went almost paleo to get his cholesterol down without meds, at least trying. He's dropped about 35 lbs between diet and exercise in the last 2 1/2 months! He is looking for things without carbohydrates (that would Kill me!!). Looking forward to the recipes all in one place.

    1. Kathy,
What can you have? I'm not sure but I know we could come up with some things you can eat and maybe that should be a section to work on for recipes. Most of mine as you know are full of sugars, real dairy, farm fresh eggs, but I think any recipe can be changed to suit one's tastes and needs. Sorry you've been sick you and the husband but wonderful the pounds lost. You two are very determined! Proud of you.
