This Dog Has Talent: A Dog and His Fish

 

This dog is something else!

He appeared on our property one day, and what a surprise he was! 

We soon found out he loved to chew up everything he could sink his teeth into!

Our sweet Oskar was still with us, and he became this pup's daddy

He was a perfect parent for this cute wild thing.

This pup chewed, and chewed, and chewed up 

Most everything on the property,

Including all of my irrigation!

Hmmm, now that I think about it, 

That may explain why I'm cutting back on gardening 😄

Guess he did this lady a favor   

Makes sense to me

My mama always said, and it became a saying at a plant where she was working,
"Work Smarter, Not Harder"

This dog is quite the digger as well! 

He could dig the biggest holes a person could fall into! 😲 But

He has worked his way into our hearts! 💞

One day, after having to shut him inside the fence while training

For his protection and others 

We discovered the boy has talent!

We have small kiddie pools inside the chicken pen for extra water

He quickly put a hole in every little pool we put in there!

I gave up after about 4 of them!

He loved playing in the pools, splashing the water out constantly

Then something caught his eye!

I was about to lose my patience, "Not another hole!"

Then I found something and couldn't believe my eyes!

I took it inside to wash and take a closer look.

 

This fish!

He saw this fish and had to have it, so he chewed it out of the bottom of the pool,

He did a mighty fine job!

I took it inside and washed it

Turned it every way and was amazed!

LOOK AT THIS!

HE DID THIS HIMSELF!

All I could say was, "Wow, I can't believe this!"

I asked him, "Boy, what have you been up to?"

Look at his face, he knows.

 

This was a while back, when he first chewed the fish out of the pool.

Below is today! 

I woke him up from a nap and placed his fish in front of him.

He woke up and went to play with Trashmouth, 

His cat brother.

Or should I say, Uncle?

He is pretty happy to see his fish today.

I wish he wouldn't chew up any more plastic. I'd just give it to him.

But for his safety

The fish creation will remain inside with great memories of how it came about!

Look At That!

He has an eye for beauty!

This Dog Has Talent!

Now, I need to scrub the porch!
