Stay safe and warm

Fun info! I hope you all are staying warm down south. I heard the ice storms are terrible in TN right now.
ReplyDeleteWe're hanging in here trying to keep the water pipes from bursting..things like that, not used to this kind of cold much. Excited though we may get snow Saturday. Hope y'all are doing well. Good to hear from you. xoxo Dolly
DeleteYou my dear have some mighty cold temps I see! Whoa, stay warm.
DeleteIt's cold in sunny North Florida too. But I love Winter - it's made for Introverts like me - reading, You Tube watching, cooking & baking. Next round of frigid is predicted for Sunday with temps as low as 17 degrees. My water bill is going to be sky high from running faucets to prevent frozen pipes - a rarity in these parts. Stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteEileen, I know you're loving this weather then! Your introvert day sounds a lot like mine! I'm laughing thinking we sound the same, but still if we lived closer I'd like to poke my head in and speak! You stay warm yourself and will talk to you soon sweet friend. xoxo Dolly
DeleteI've also noticed that we have a lot in common and probably would be great friends if we were neighbors. Perhaps it's because we both love Southern ways plus my father was raised in Charleston and Edgefield County, SC.
Delete- Eileen
Your father raised in Charleston and Edgefield, that is wonderful to know. We do have a lot in common, our love of Southern ways. Thank you for sharing that with us. Dolly
DeleteThis was so fun to read! Thank you for sharing. I remember sharing names of things in England, lol. I love four seasons! But we haven't that at all. We had our third snow storm since November the other day. I know we will be rationing water again this year. The mountains are usually covered in snow, but sadly just a little at the tops so far. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh my rationing water! You've had three snow storms! I thought we had snow rarely, but it seems we get a little snow more often than I realized. We're snowed in today, but like you I can always find something to occupy my time. It is so good to hear from you. xoxo Dolly
