The kids, grandkids and I went to see Alice Cooper!
You couldn't have told me that at this age I'd be touring around the countryside with the kids. Going to many concerts, and still enjoying them after all these years!
I remember the 70s well. We had some pretty good music! These songs bring back many memories from those days! (Daddy used to say you girls are knocking all the dirt up from the cracks in the hardwood floors dancing so much).
I'll let you in on a little secret I've always loved most of Alice Cooper's songs, but even I was in confused about their looks back then. I mean it wasn't everyday you saw rock bands that looked like them.
At the risk of sounding like the 'Mimi' I am, there were in the 70s many bands that our parents and grandparents warned us about. You know, "Watch out they may be scary or devil worshipers be careful!
I guess I thought back to then when going to this concert, but I'm glad I went and enjoyed them finally after all these years.
Some thought Stevie Nicks was a witch with her black drapping capes. She had that public persona, but it didn't stop us then we went to see her. Loved her then love her now. Just letting you in on the secrets of the 70s.
Heck, my best friends father was a pastor and we heard a lot from him. Funny thing is you know what they say about pastor's kids? You know some of the worse.... (truly not I miss her.)
Back on topic: I'm very impressed these bands are still going strong! The best part is I get to enjoy them with my young ones!

I'd better stop before placing the whole show on the blog. Don't let it stop you from going to any of the concerts, if nothing else these are a good preview.
Like I said earlier, " you couldn't have told me I'd be going to an Alice Cooper concert. It was very loud but bearable. Best thing is I finally got to see him live!
I will note that Judas Priest was there as well. I've personally never liked them or the name they chose. However, I have a daughter likes them. Sad she wasn't able to enjoy them. We couldn't stay for that one it was way too loud! Sometimes, too loud isn't music anymore, just awful noise.
My ears haven't stopped ringing since!
Sharing these next videos I found interesting
Talking about Ozzy
I hope you're enjoying these concert posts
We have another planned in a month or so
You know I'll update when we return!
Thank You Girls!
Until Next Time
