Wouldn't you know, just when I need a crop for salads, I don't have any. 😛 Trying to remedy that at the moment. What's the matter with me? 😎😏😔I dropped the ball......Oh well, getting up & at it again.
Today's Topic: Growing What You Can Indoors
For many years, I've grown lettuce inside in the AeroGardens. Growing Lettuce Inside: You can Grow Your Own Lettuce too.
We've had lots of wonderful salads at our fingertips! I do love a salad! You can imagine how much I've missed salads recently with the lettuce scare.
Oh well, back to growing our own!

In fact, I cut some the other day for some small salads
I've planted Botanical Interests Rouge d'Hiver seeds
You can tell I cut some of this lettuce last night
We used it on our soft tacos

Easy Steps To Growing Basically Anything Inside In The AeroGardens
STEP ONE: Buy the seeds of your choice that you can use for your climate, or cut inside as I do with these for year-round growth.

STEP THREE: Purchase a Seed Pod Kit that will have the number you will need for your chosen
STEP FOUR: Add water to the fill line in your grower and then follow the instructions in your Seed Pod Kit. Add the liquid fertilizer as stated in the kit.
STEP FIVE: Follow the instructions on the grower and set up for growing; it is pretty much self-explanatory.

Stock up on a Grower and

Such a useful skill during this lettuce scare. I think we'd all be wise to grow more of our own food with all the uncertainty with the food supply. The old ways are the best ways sometimes.
