Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball


Ingredients

  • 2 and 1/2 packages of softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 and 1/2 can 8oz. (or apx. 12 oz of a 20 oz can)  Dole Crushed Pineapple Drained
  • 1/3 cup Fresh Crisp Green Bell Pepper chopped finely
  • 3 Tablespoons finely chopped Red, Green Or sweet Onion
  • 3 teaspoons McCormick Seasoned Salt
  • I teaspoon Chopped Fresh Dill
  • Optional Add In:  1 cup Nuts Pecan or Walnut chopped finely Pecans are sweeter.
     Plus
  • 1 cup Nuts Pecan or Walnut chopped:  Set Aside to coat the outside of the Cheese Ball.  

*Notes:   

Take the cream cheese out of the fridge to soften for easier mixing 

Taste along the way and add ingredients to your liking, it's really easy.


    Instructions:

    1. Mix the cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper, onion, and seasoned salt
    2. Chill
    3. Shape into Ball and wrap lightly in waxed paper
    4. Right before you serve roll cheese ball into the **remaining nuts.

    We really like this recipe but for some reason we only seem to have it on special occasions

    This is a Traditional Southern Recipe which has always been a hit at showers and parties
