Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 2 and 1/2 packages of softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1 and 1/2 can 8oz. (or apx. 12 oz of a 20 oz can) Dole Crushed Pineapple Drained
- 1/3 cup Fresh Crisp Green Bell Pepper chopped finely
- 3 Tablespoons finely chopped Red, Green Or sweet Onion
- 3 teaspoons McCormick Seasoned Salt
- I teaspoon Chopped Fresh Dill
- Optional Add In: 1 cup Nuts Pecan or Walnut chopped finely Pecans are sweeter.
- 1 cup Nuts Pecan or Walnut chopped: Set Aside to coat the outside of the Cheese Ball.
*Notes:
Take the cream cheese out of the fridge to soften for easier mixing
Taste along the way and add ingredients to your liking, it's really easy.
Instructions:
- Mix the cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper, onion, and seasoned salt
- Chill
- Shape into Ball and wrap lightly in waxed paper
- Right before you serve roll cheese ball into the **remaining nuts.
We really like this recipe but for some reason we only seem to have it on special occasions
This is a Traditional Southern Recipe which has always been a hit at showers and parties
