T'was The Night Before Christmas

We have a fairly large family, there were five of us children.   I have some of the fondest memories of Christmas.  One of them is the book, The Night Before Christmas pictured below.  We grew up with this wonderful book and it is torn, tattered, written in, smudged.  It is still very sentimental to me.

The stocking in this photo above reminds me of the Christmas spent in the small home when I was 5

I love the Illustrations, don't you?
I know children all over the world are so excited today.  Can you imagine their faces such joy?
We also had a tattered Bible
I will post that one tomorrow for Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas Eve!

  5. Merry Christmas! I read The Night Before Christmas to my granddaughter yesterday and it happened to be her mother's book- the one we read to her every Christmas Eve. We sent home with my daughter so it now has a new home. I love the books that we have held onto since childhood.
