Spring Gardening Clean Up

I was blessed with a little gardening help this past week.  This little energetic one was out of school.  He really was a lot of help. He worked so hard!  I had a lot of catching up to do, but he made it fun! Still not finished, hmmm, when is the next school break?

Planting a new tree for "Mimi"

He dug this dead Leyland Cyprus up by himself and I was very impressed

Digging the hole bigger to set out a new tree

Look at that face. I didn't notice how red his little face was getting he did work so hard and it was a little warm. One plus was to play with the water hose while planting.

He dug up three more trees then began digging the deepest hole..next post

Dead Tree in hand, the boy can work!
Love my little helper.

  2. Phillip is one hard worker. Looks like you may have a future gardener on your hands. These are the times kids remember with fond memoirs.

    1. Hey Michelle,
He sure is, I'll tell you he amazed me those few days. We usually play Batman etc but that day he wanted to go out with me and it included digging, water hose but he worked circles around me..I hope the memories will be there...

    1. Hi Sarah,
He sure is. I hope your grass will be green very soon. Mine is just starting to turn and can't wait for the beautiful green cushion to walk on. Being from the South you know we love the snow but that could be because we rarely get it. So glad you stopped by today!
