Spotlight Story: Kim Scornavacco and Kathryn Broege These People Are Amazing!

You know there are people who stand out among others and I've been so blessed to get to know them.  People that are so interesting, caring, and outgoing.  The list goes on and on.
These two ladies are prime examples of that.  Both are so fun loving and enjoy life to the fullest.  They have never, as we say in the south, "Let the dust settle around them!"  Active is one very big word to describe Kathryn and Kim.

Kathryn

Kathryn only recently took up crochet and her talent has flourished.  She worked so hard on some truly beautiful gifts and sent them on to us for baby Aspen.

You can see some of Kathryn's work on her Nostalgic Needleworks Facebook Page and at her Etsy Shop.

'Baby Aspen my grand niece'
Kathryn made these beautiful items for this baby and that meant a lot.
Kathryn has such a talent.

I lucked up because she also made a gift for me!   Isn't this adorable?  I love it!  It is so pretty and so me!  She knew I'd love it and I do. I have devoted a post to Kathryn's beautiful crochet items for you to see at dolly's designs.

 Kim

Kim, what a dynamo this lady is.  You can visit her at her blog Snug Harbor Bay , her Facebook Page here and her Etsy Shop SnugHarborBay.  She is always geocaching, exploring, hiking and woodworking.  Active doesn't even come close to describing her.  You may remember seeing her on the sidebars of all three of my blogs.

I'm so proud of Kim and she is the model for the aprons I make and I so appreciate that pretty energetic smile!

The other day I went to my mailbox and was thrilled to see a surprise package!  It was like Christmas!  You couldn't wipe that smile off my face!
Kim finds the greatest things and does beautiful work refurbishing them.  You have to see what she has made for me.  She also searched through many items to find another surprise, just the right one, that she knew I'd like!

She took the time to know what would be the perfect gifts for me.  Would you like to see what was in my package from Kim?

Look at this cutting board!  Needless to say I really love it!  You can see where she found these goodies 'Garage Sale Finds' here Such a thoughtful gift and you can see the tutorial 'How to Repurpose a Cutting Board here.
Isn't it wonderful to take an item and give it new life for someone else to use!  This is displayed proudly in my kitchen!

This wonderful pattern was also found in the box!  Look there are eight very different and fun patterns in one!  I love it!
