Blueberries and Inspiration

The blueberries are ready!  Here at Hibiscus House we only have one living plant and it is loaded this year.  I've heard others here speak of the bumper crop as well.  Do you grow your own?

I try but so far this one bush that is probably about 5 years old is the only one here thriving. I sat it down beside the storage building just until I could get it planted.  Yes, that was 5 years ago!  It had a mind of it's own and decided to take root where it sat among the Holly and Crepe Myrtle that was rooted and in a pot until finding just the perfect spot.

They are still in that location and now once again I will wait until the Fall to remove some of them (let's hope). The plants and tree just love it there and are thriving!

I stuck this picture in because the little beauty is growing in among the blueberries

Yummy, the best time to eat is right off the bush!

These little 2 quart baskets come in very handy! We got these filled with berries from McLeod Farms
Time to go back and get some delicious peaches!

I really must make that pie
A precious lady at church brought me some of her beautiful blueberries.
That's a good thing because while we were at Vacation Bible School Chuck snacked on these blueberries!

I love to garden as my mother before me.  What beauty to be seen and it changes daily.  Watching your sometimes very hard, hot work pay off is a joy!  I thank God for all that he gives to us, probably not as often as I should, but who could not see His glory in all this earth has to offer.

I'll leave you today with some wonderful Bible Verses and a prayer for happy prosperous days.

Romans 3
8.  Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous." 9. not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
10.  "He who would love life and see good days. Let him refrain his tongue from evil.  And his lips from speaking deceit.
11.  Let him turn away from evil and do good;  Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers;  But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

I like this couple and the show
What a wonderful testimony.
