Small Batch Bar-B-Que Sauce

Who wants a quick small recipe for one meal?  I've made the gallons and gallons of bottles and just didn't have space for them in the pantry.  A smaller version was needed. Jump right to the recipe ...

Bar-B-Que Sauce Recipe

Mustard/ketchup base - Small Batch

1/2 cup vinegar - your choice of white or apple cider (I used white)

1/2 cup yellow mustard

1/2 cup ketchup

A few dashes of black and red pepper

5 or 6 splashes of Texas Pete, Frank's. or your favorite hot sauce

Lemon juice a fresh lemon or Reallemon (I used Realemon 2 squeezes)

2-3 heaping teaspoons of light brown sugar

Add the following to taste:  Garlic powder, onion powder, salt
*I used 1/2 tsp of garlic and onion powder plus just a pinch of salt.*

Add more salt and pepper if needed

Mix/Whisk well and store until use in the refrigerator.

If using now then I suggest heating to make your recipe hot and ready to use.

Heat through whisking together to smooth. Bring to a boil then turn the stove down to low
Add to pulled pork, chicken, or pork chops as desired.

Store any leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to a month

Makes a pint of barbeque sauce

I know the adding-to-taste ingredients are not measured but it truly is to your taste and liking. You have your base, to begin with. You season to your likes. Make it your own.

This pint was freshly made just now!
