Merry Christmas 2023

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!””

 -Luke 2:11-14 Listen to chapter

The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will

She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and
Then was a widow untile she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day,
Fasting and praying. Coming up to them at the very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about
The Child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

The visit of the wise men.

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,
Behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying,
"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?
For we saw His star when it rose and have come to worship Him."
