Night is Falling at Hibiscus House

The most peaceful times of the day to me are early morning at sunrise and the short twilight time before sunset. The sky here over Hibiscus House is a work of art nightly.
It can take your breathe away, because it is so peaceful and beautiful. God paints the sky.
I was walking one late afternoon and saw the most beautiful sights.  The white old fashioned roses that are so faithful and carefree. My sister gave me one sprig and no matter where I live those roses come with me. The white picket fence, and in the distance our neighbors across the road have their lights on.
You can hear the animals settling in for the night.  The roosters crow one last time the hens are cackling lowly and perching.  Behind the property toward the swamp you can hear wild dogs barking and the occasional coyote...birds of the night sing their songs...rabbits are creeping out to eat their nightly meal.... If you sit quietly on the porch you can see this and the occasional doe with her fawn gracefully walk in front of you.

You can see the neighbor's light in upper center of photo
photo is blurry I know but wanted to show anyway.

Picket fence with white roses I love it!

Look at all of those roses peeping through the fence

See the night light it just came on.
I know the roses need a hair cut I just wanted to show them in bloom.

How did you get in here?

Good night all.

    1. Thank you Jane. I can't remember but wish I did. They are a very tiny rose almost like the little pink fairy I used to have but the white is more prolific....If anyone out there knows the name of this please let us know.

I would absolutely love for you and your wife to come visit anytime. That is an honest invitation, just give me a heads up so I can pick up a little....and make something to eat ....we'll be good to go. It would be so nice to have a visit. Hmmmmm and maybe you could give me some gardening pointers? I love the way you spread your seeds of faith as well....Thanks

  4. Dolly,
Your white roses and picket fences make me long for childhood. My Grandma's garden was framed in the same way. It's so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
