'Little Dolly'
Look at those eyes and the lashes!
Catie reminds me of myself when I was young, always taking in strays. She and Doug had just recently been feeding two orphan puppies on the bottle. Someone had dropped them off on a veterinarian's doorsteps. They just weened them from the bottle and she now has this little fawn.
She was only taking care of it for a few days. We were blessed when she brought her to see us. Sharing in pictures and videos today this sweet trip to our home.

Catie
Precious Fawn
'Little One' is so proud to be holding this little fawn
When Catie was taking the deer from the box H said "I'm not holding him"! Which means hurry up and give her to me.
That's the most adorable thing ever and Harrison is so cute. He will remember that for years. What a special moment for him.
ReplyDeleteIs your daughter a vet?
Isn't it? I love it! I do believe he won't forget it.
DeleteNo she isn't.
Have a great weekend!
No but her husband is a vet tech.
DeleteA beautiful start to my day. I'm still smiling, wouldn't it be a beautiful world if adult's could accept others from a baby's perspective.
ReplyDeleteHave a great and safe holiday.
Hugs

DeleteIt is always so good to hear from you too.
They are so sweet! We had a little one by the bees, nesting behind the hives, probably waiting for mom to come back. I wish I could give it a big hug! I'll bet Harrison remembers this forever.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are Kathy. I'll bet you did want to go hug it, I know I would have wanted to. I'm so proud of y'all and your beekeeping. I would love to do it but don't, so I enjoy yours so much. I bet he will never forget this either.
