Saving Time & Money

Doer what is a doer?

A person who does things, driven by producing. One who plans, executes, and leads. A person who likes to get things done instead of just thinking and dreaming about doing things.

We doers like to do & if you're a thinker dreamer standing in the way. I say lightheartedly to you "Please stand to the side because I don't want to bump into you while doing."

Not that we doers don't take the time to think about and make plans around getting things done, we do. In fact this post was started with some of that thinking and planning.

That comes in handy when doing also saves you time and money in the long run.

If you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, maybe getting a little tired in the process you can accomplish much!

Preps For Future Savings of Time and Money

  • Clean and organize your cabinets, drawers, shelves, closets, and pantries.
  • Your fine furniture pieces if they serve to store and display your treasured items as well
  • Basically anything that holds anything go through and clear only sentimental or items you will actually use should be kept. (Not just  if you think you may use them).
  • Storage keep clean and organized.

Tips For Saving Time, which In Turn Saves You Money

  • Wash clothes daily if you have a load, but don't be wasteful with laundry detergent or soap. Use enough but don't just throw it in.
  • Have you seen the cost of laundry products lately?  Make your own. $ saving. Use only enough detergent for the load you have. (I have come to realize that I am frivolous with things - who knew)?
  • Make your own laundry soap or detergent!  You know I do and keep some on hand at all times.
  • Laundry Lots of DIY mixtures to save you $.
  • Watch for sales of the things you use regularly, I know it seems so easy, but it can take some time. Take the time it will save you money.

My Personal Disclosure: Admittedly, I am a former hoarder, working on becoming a minimalist  (I remember when those things didn't have a name) Maybe a bad time to minimize but it is what it is. Now I must admit hoarding has come in very handy in recent years with the rising costs.

I had to do something a bathtub had so many extra items that had to be used up!  Making progress and the pantry is becoming more spacious (well I see a little space between the cans & boxes lol).

I'm guilty of having too much stuff in all the wrong places and have a lot to do to have a clean home,  (truth be known it needs a good cleaning now and what am I doing? Writing a blog post of course! 😉I Admire Those that do keep an immaculate Home

That's not me, but I'm working on it daily. That is another topic, but these things go hand in hand. Going into a room -Take somethng that belongs in that room.  Leaving a room -Take something that doesn't belong to put where it belongs.

I've yaked enough, be sure to hit the links here in this post & throughout the blog.

We all learn from each other and isn't that a fun thing?  I think so! Have a great week visit Dolly is Cooking if you like. I spend my life it seems in the kitchen or gardening.
