PINK Is For Girls!

This post is for girls only!
Yes, that's right!
It is all about PINK!
No not her; the color PINK.

My girls have tried to get me away from my pink lipstick their entire lives.
I can count on one hand the times I have varied away from my favorite pink.
I can't help it I still love the light pink lipstick.
I just happen to have grown to the age where pink is again very flattering!

I happen to love this apron.  Isn't it cute?
I love the soft color.

This rose not pink pink but very pretty

Look at these colors!  Don't you just love the off white, pink, pale peach and green?
You know I do and that pink rose pulls me in.

Yes I like these!

Twiggy I loved her!
Loved Yardley!
Loved the pink lipstick samples that I would get in the mail!
Loved the 70s!

Do you see her lipstick?  Yes good color Shootin Pink!

I have one last thing to share with you today.
My Lady Norelco Electric Shaver
Chuck gave it to me on our First Anniversary.
I still have it and yes it still works.
What color is it?
Ok I'll have to help you out because it has faded a little over the years.
It's PINK!

It is kind of strange though my closet is not full of pink clothing. Hmm, guess I'll have
to remedy that.

This is the lipstick Carly gave me and I still love it!
I had a post about her and my gift Here if you'd like to see it.

Have a great week.  Do you have a fashion statement that describes you?
 Tell us about it!

Have a great rest of the week!

  1. That apron is really beautiful! Oh what is my fashion statement-- my husband jokes that I only have various shades of dark! See, there's a plan. Everything goes with black and it's so easy to coordinate shirts with browns, dark blue and grey. He about fell over when I came downstairs wearing a bright, colorful shirt (under my black jacket!). He, on the other hand would paint the bedroom the colors of a Mexican restaurant. Really, those are some of his favorite colors. I have to temper him.

  2. I wore pink lipstick for years, too. I went to one called Goldmist Rose for a few years but have been finding my way back to a pure light pink. I remember those razors and I LOVED Twiggy. Do you remember the phase of wearing WHITE lipstick? That was big one year in our school along with ironing our hair. lol What a fun, fun post.
This also made me think of Loves Baby Lemon scent... xo Diana

    1. Hey Diana Yes I remember wearing the pure white lipstick. My mama and sisters always said to me that I looked as if I were dead! Lol Good memories! You have brought back such good memories...Yes I ironed my hair it was naturally curly and if I didn't iron it I looked like Shirley Temple! My girls laugh at me for ironing hair but hey that is all we had to style our hair flat at the time. I can still smell my hair burning...crazy...You have made it even more fun! Thanks for coming over and making me smile!!!! Oh yeah Loves Baby Lemon! oxxoxo Dolly
