Would You Change Your Life If You Could?

There are days when  you stop and think certain things.  Today is one for me, birthdays tend to do that you know!

Sometimes do you look back through your life and think would I change it?

I sure do, well at least some things. Some I wouldn't change for the world, and would love to re-live them.  Isn't it a blessing that we don't always know what is going to happen?  We would spend our life waiting for, or trying to stop the next happening!  You know we would.

I think the best any of us can do is keep moving forward, live each day to the best and fullest, keep in mind what our life will look like to us in the future.  Notice I said to us, others we love, but we have to live our best lives.

Thank the good Lord for our many blessings and hold fast to Him when things aren't going as we hoped they would.

That works for me, well some now that I'm getting older, like living for myself, not selfishly, mind you. Not ever selfishly, but for so many years I, like some of you, have lived what I thought would be pleasing to others.  Hmm, strange how it takes a few years to learn these things, "If only I knew then what I know now!" Oh, and there is more to learn....what a blessing it is to continually live and learn!

Today, I'm another day older and wiser?  Laughing, I sure hope so anyway!  I'm going to enjoy the day, with family and friends.  I am thankful for you my Hibiscus House friends too!
