Are You Ready?

Christmas is coming soon
Are you ready?
What's up with you?

Have you finished decorating?  Are you baking?

I still have lots to do, but the thing is what's more important? Things that once were, or so we thought, just aren't as important anymore.  Have you discovered that?

There are always good things that come from the bad. No one likes the bad but it does make us realize what is good.

We are blessed you know, we really are.  So, relax, think happy thoughts, focus on others, and let us all be grateful for what blessings we do have.  There are so many!

Hey, I'm still in bed with a cup of coffee underneath a very warm quilt, my hair is standing up on top of my head quite a mess.  The good thing is who knows? (well, until I just told you)  Who sees it?  No one. How great is that?

I just watched two sermons online and received a blessing. I have 4 or 5 more to see before the day is out.  I'll let them know how much it means that they have them online!

See blessings everywhere.

So much to do so little time! Sounds frantic doesn't it?  This year it isn't frantic.

Are you one of those who is always organized with every box wrapped neatly tied with beautiful bows?  I commend you and wish that I could be like you.  I'm not but have come to terms with it.

Things like that aren't as important as they once were.

Isn't that a blessing?  I think so!  See there are good things to come from difficult times. Many good things we each are seeing what is most important in our lives aren't we?

On the other hand I have presents stashed here and there hidden even from myself. Do you do that? Someone may receive more than others because of this mistake. (maybe at another time perhaps someone else will enjoy the item)

Hmm I thought I didn't buy that but here is another!  I've turned into my mama.

I could blame it on the pandemic, but I won't it's just me and what I do! 😊

Planning, do you plan?  Sometimes I think I plan way too much and that believe it or not takes away from the doing.  Sometimes just doing something is better and accomplishes more in the long run.

Did I say that? Yes I did!

I've got the most beautiful greenery that Carly, John and I cut last week, Catie and the little ones put up our Christmas tree.

It is beautiful on its own!  It's not the things which are so beautiful but the people who do the things. Those are the memories in the making!  💖

What a beautiful tree

Who Comes This Week?
