Do you like to take garden walks? I love it and guess I inherited it from my mama. Early morning when everything is waking up I enjoy. The sun, birds, all animals, and the plants are so fresh and seem to say "Good Morning". Truthfully anytime is a good time to walk and enjoy nature all around. God's Beauty is there for all to enjoy.
I like these plants a lot. It is from the Mint Family and has many uses. Bees, hummingbirds and other insects really like it. I'm allergic to bees but this plant has made me less afraid of being around them. They swarm and enjoy so I just work right along side of them now.

Another wonderful plant that bees and hummingbirds love! My mama loved these so much! I am trying to decide on whether to make a special garden for "Dot" or add more of what she loved to this butterfly/bee garden and name it for her. I know that she would want me out here gardening. It was one of her favorite things to do. When I garden I feel close to her.

ReplyDeleteI love your bee balm! I have both garden variety and wild that we found in a field, it gets really tall. You're right, the bees just work around you, at least the bunbles do.
