But if you have room or even a patio
Grow some, you will enjoy them

I am growing on my porch railings raised beds and inground

Tomatoes

We purchased tomatoes from local farm friends  'Ellerbe's Vegetable Farms'

  1. I have always wanted to grow strawberries on my patio. Just not sure what kind of pot to use or when to plant them. I guess I could google it. Mom used to grow them in a galvanized tub. We used to eat them faster than she could get to them and we told her the snakes ate them , lol

    1. You have me laughing now for sure! The snakes at them...Really any kind of pot will do. I have mine in porch railing pots they love them. I broke down and bought one of those little stacking pots and it is too small the plants don't do well in it. I think I'll plant flowers in that thing next year. So any location that gets some sun at least a foot of depth and depending on how many plants you want the width. Plant away Lisa and watch out for the snakes!
