I confess I'd never heard of the band Dogstar. I also didn't know that Keanu Reeves was a big part of it! Dummy me! My girls did and they were so excited to learn that they would be touring in the next state up! Well, let's face it I was excited.
The girls didn't think I'd like to go because it was to be held in a bar venue. I'm from the 70's I'm not a drinker but I was familiar with clubs especially if they had dance floors. I wasn't sure they'd want Mama tagging along on their trip.
None of us said anything but at the last minute, I told them, "I'd like to go too" so, off we went!
It took a few hours to get there but the road trip was so much fun! We all laughed, talked, and ate snacks the entire way there. The closer we got the more excited we became!
This band reminded me of some bands I heard in the seventies! Some local friends may remember the club 'The Tale of the Fox'. This band reminded me of those times! It was as if we'd stepped back in time. They played their hearts out!

She was so close to the stage! She came and got me to go up front with her! She is such a sweet girl! I'm blessed to have two wonderful girls!

My Thoughts: I believe Keanu is the complete opposite of some of his acting roles. He is a great actor!
All the searches indicate: He is one of the most kind caring people out there. Humble always comes up. He supports several charities including one he founded a private cancer foundation that provides cancer research and helps children's hospitals. His sister had a battle with Leukemia. He has been known to help many individuals in huge ways. Keanu gives away a substantial amount of his mass earnings to wonderful causes. Keanu is one of the most caring human beings on earth. Quite the humanitarian. There isn't an unkind word about him on the internet! There aren't many people you can say that about.
You can see it when he is on stage playing his guitar! He smiles and shyly lets you know he sees you then carries on.
Oh yes, Carly and I got smiles and waves from him! Wonderful night.
I'll close by saying in case you can't tell we had the best time ever!
