You have to admit the year was I'll just say different in many aspects. Holding on to and enjoying certain things made for some normalcy.

What I found was that people enjoyed gardening, family was more important than ever, entertainment. People still are very patriotic, they have a love for our country still. Faith, hope, love, and kindness are what we all need more of for the new year.

What an honor it was for that team to choose Slick and his car color scheme.
My cousin Slick lost his life doing what he loved best and that was racing!
Do I miss him? You bet but do I know he lived life to the fullest and did what he loved to do.
I think that's the best any of us can do is live our lives give thanks to God and carry on!

He loves when we go out to the garden and is so excited to be a part of it.
In fact, he thinks he works with me and I have to give him pay in the form of a treat!
It is a joy to grow them and he only adds to that joy!

I know that if he were with us today he would be very proud that his story was one of the most viewed for the year! Sam was an extraordinary artist and person I'm glad to have known him.

Funny story about this tuberous plant and our family
Just about every part of the plant is toxic but my Mama wanted to have some in her garden
When I moved away I took a few of them with me and once again with the move to Hibiscus House More were brought over.

This Tractor Supply Coop has served the hens and rooster very well.
They lay almost every day every one of them!
2021 was quite a year and people were prone to do more at their homes like gardening raising animals and just plain trying to make the best of a strange situation we've all been living through in 2021
